Boat Description

Mischief 111 is a ‘Yonne’ class Bermudan cutter-rigged sloop designed by Dr. T. Harrison Butler in the early 1930s and built by A. W. Clemens in Old Portsmouth, Hampshire during 1935.
The yacht had several owners over the early years until she was laid-up in a field near Worcester for over twenty years until boatbuilder Roy Aldworth discovered her through the Harrison Butler Association.
Having previously rebuilt an earlier Harrison Butler yacht, he couldn’t resist the challenge. Thus began a six year thorough rebuild of Mischief 111 which, on completion, resulted in the yacht being awarded the 2012 Classic Boat Magazine’s Restoration of the Year.

In 2014, Mischief 111 was put up for sale. The current owner saw her and made an offer and, ten years later, he and his wife have enjoyed their ownership of this very special yacht and have not spared any expense in preserving her immaculate condition.

Mischief III has a flawless survey conducted in March 2024 and is in mint condition throughout. She has received a spring cosmetic refit each year.
